OVH has a large variety of products and their specialization is with dedicated servers, but I was using their shared hosting and despite the low focus, it still works better and is way budget friendly compared to many providers. If you are someone that actually can use their brain and doesn't need support for every little issue... this company is perfect.

Can you tell me if it's normal and professional that every day my server gets disconnected from the network, resulting in package loss which results in my clients getting disconnected. OVH now just turned of the monitoring to ignore the issues.
So when you label this at 'the only true hosting provider' i'm worried about your professionalism.
The VERY slow support and billing service, but it's not the main.
The main is: we received the message that our bare metal host will be switched off in 15 minutes. Of course, we didn't have enough time to do anything and host was powered off.
After this incident we had a week+ conversation with support. No sorry, no compensation. Their position that "it was the scheduled maintenance" because they had written about it somewhere in their status page that we even hand't known about. If you want to know about their PLANNED maintenances you shoud check their updates by yourself.
Btw a half a year ago I tried to learn their prices to set up a few dozens new bare metal hosts. I wrote 3 times to their Sales using different ways but no one answered me. I tried to reach their Sales via their support because we had an account but received an answer "we can't help you, bye". Wow.

1) As for the status page - of course, after this episode we subscribed (it would be better to know about before, wouldn't it?). But there are a lot of spam (~10 emails per day) without any details in it. For example, today's letter contains: > As part of our continuous improvement policy, our teams are going to upgrade some network equipment to homogenize our network infrastructure. Why shoud we read this? How can it help us? What will exactly happen and how will it affect our hosts? So many questions to the most of emails. It's unuseful but my first case is: you scheduled DOWNTIME and sent the information about this only in status page without any other information methods (you've got emails of your users to make an email, haven't you?).
2) As for the contact with the Sales - I've used this form, nobody answered me. It was the root problem. It isn't actual now, we've found the DC.

Bonjour, Ce n'est pas normal de passer presque une semaine à juste obtenir son SSL et installer Wordpress.
La doc n'est pas du tout intuitive, beaucoup trop d'explications ... Les vidéos ne servent pas à grand chose vu qu'elles redirigent vers le guide. Le site est vieux et mal construit niveau UX.
SAV déplorable, lent, quoi qu'il arrive ils répondent en une phrase : RTFM.
Avec les autres hébergeurs en moins d'une heure je suis prêt à travailler. là ça fait presque une semaine et je n'ai toujours pas de SSL.

I was waiting for my ded.server for 3 days and never got it. I had to cancel my order and not sure if they will refund. They told me some nonsense about security checks, then some nonsense about high demand, and they never told me when will my order be completed. After 3 days of this nonsense I had to cancel my order. I hope they will refund. And I waisted 3 days if my time! Don't use this company and don't waist your time!

Support NIE ISTNIEJE, jeżeli cokolwiek się dzieje OVH ma cie gdzieś. Jeżeli w ogóle ktoś się w ogóle odezwie w twoim zgłoszeniu to już sukces. Gdy pokazujesz problem i prosisz o logi z ich strony w większości wypadków nic nie dostaniesz i to wina twojej strony, proste. OVH nigdy nie ma problemów i wszystko jest super nawet jak nie działa. 2. Hosting współdzielony to porażka, na jednym adresie IP stoją tysiące stron i wystarczy że do jednej jest włam wszystko jest blokowane także dla ciebie, płatności na przykład. Tak wiem jaka jest specyfika tego rodzaju hostingu ale jak tak robisz masz kontrolować co się dzieje a nie ignorować zagadnienie ewentualnego nadmiarowego ruchu. OVH ma to gdzieś nikt nie sprawdza czy na danym IP nie ma bota inicjującego DDoS, po prostu ich to nie interesuje. 3. Jeżeli masz do hostingu serwer poczty to twoja strona i tak nie będzie w stanie z niego korzystać - OVH limituje ilość maili na podstawie adresu IP (swojego współdzielonego!!!) w efekcie mechanizmy twojej strony nie są w stanie się połączyć z serwerem poczty bo limity połączeń do serwera są ciągle przekroczone. I tu niespodzianka rada OVH nic z tym nie zrobi. W skrócie nigdy więcej Hostingu w OVH.
A dramatic server for an online store - I do not recommend it to anyone!
I had a server there with a prestashop store. If you want to change anything, you write to ovh, and you always get information that it doesn't apply to them! Dramatic maintenance. You wait a long time for a story, and it won't do any good. I have not seen a worse company providing such services for 20 years. Avoid the bow! Think carefully if you want to have good support and a well-functioning store. Do you want to waste your nerves on service and any changes on the server. In general, I do not recommend for any treasures.

I purchased a server for a year starting in June 2022. Everything worked fine until 2 months ago. I have been experiencing package drops for the last 2 months. The server was advertised as the ideal game server and for an amount of almost 100 euros per month you expect something.
The package drops started 2 months ago. But according to OVH, nothing was wrong. They then intervened (4 hours after the agreed time...) and unplugged and plugged in the network cable while they were going to replace the cable.
Then they replaced the cable from the wrong server. After that the problems were not solved. Then they went to replace the motherboard. After an hour I received a message that it was completed (while the server has not been offline. Great!).
After a few days of fiddling, things remained fairly stable. Until the beginning of this week. Package drops again, lag, no connection, my ping monitors at 2 locations simultaneously found that no pings were received and at that moment all players were kicked and could no longer connect.
OVH went to check again, they ran tests for 3 hours, nothing came out of this, and the problems suddenly got much worse.
According to OVH, it is not their fault. Fantastic, is it definitely just me?
I have now asked them 2x nicely to cancel my contract immediately since they do not deliver what they promised me. I can't, I just have to follow their diagnostic steps for the umpteenth time. No! I don't want this anymore! Finished!
I sincerely hope that everyone who is going to purchase a server from them has read this.
Support is friendly, but poor. Prices are relatively cheap, but the quality is low.

The only thing that i ask for now, is to terminate the contract. I won't use this server anymore because it has cost me enough by losing 60% of my community.
